Chicory is a roasted root traditionally added to South Indian filter coffee. It enhances the body, thickness, and depth of flavour in the coffee decoction, giving the classic strong taste loved by filter coffee enthusiasts.

To brew authentic filter coffee:

1. Add coffee powder to the upper chamber of a coffee filter.
2. Pour hot water slowly over the powder.
3. Allow the decoction to drip into the lower chamber.
4. Mix the decoction with hot milk and sugar according to your taste.

To maintain the best aroma and flavor, store your coffee in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and moisture. For the freshest taste, it is recommended to consume coffee within a few weeks after opening.
